As a Security Officer in Jacksonville, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Re: $18.25 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMHow This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designed site and weekly shift th serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling plform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candides seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-reled procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities a utilities locion. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observions and communicing with site contacts and/or local responders as approprie. Conduct regular and random armed prols throughout the locion, including operional areas, access points, and perimeter boundaries, with tention to unusual activity and/or potential hazards. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizions, and report unauthorized access tempts in accordance with site-specific protocols. Support Allied Universal reporting requirements by completing detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift communicions reled to daily operions and/or security-reled concerns. Minimum Requirements: Possess least 1 year of armed security-reled, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Possess an armed guard card and/or license. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigion in accordance with all federal, ste, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applicions with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participe in industry-specific security training programs.
