Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Access Control in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.09 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Mon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Tue03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter access points. Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, property-related concerns, and/or policy violations to help support order throughout the community. Communicate with residents, management, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as needed while maintaining professionalism and attention to site-specific instructions. Minimum Requirements: Possess 1 or more years of armed security experience. Possess an armed guard card and unarmed guard card. Minimum of 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
