Job Summary and Qualificions
Nuclear Medical Technologist
(Monday-Friday with roting weekend call)
Our Imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals. You will perform these procedures in a careful, compassione and respectful manner. We prioritize pient care. If you are dediced to caring for others, this could be your next opportunity.
Your tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
· Use radioactive isotopes to perform organ and body scans
· Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes and record dosages for pients in accordance with physicians' orders
· Perform diagnostic studies on pients using scanners or scintillion cameras to detect radiion emitted and to produce image of organ on photographic film
· Position pients and adjust immobilizion devices
· Compassionely explain procedures to pients and address concerns
· Monitor, record and communice utilizing computerized documention (MEDITECH)
Qualificions:
Gradue of a Nuclear Medicine program
Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Current ARRT (N) and/or CNMT certificion
Valid certificion in Basic Life Support (BLS)
Ability to perform work th requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squting, kneeling, moving, lifting of pients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs
