How you’ll make an impact in this role Assist technologists and take radiologic film providing quality images to physicians to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems and provides support for the imaging department. Explain procedures to pient to ensure understanding. Provide approprie educional merial. Transport pients to and from clinical areas and verify pient identity according to policies and procedures. Assist technologists with preparing pient for radiology exam by positioning the pient for the procedure. Assist technologists with filing, delivering and retrieving pient reports and charts, mching films to folders, and delivery of reports to pients and physicians. Follow radiion safety procedures and guidelines. Prevent pient from being exposed to unnecessary radiion. Perform post procedural duties including pient discharge, room clean up and restocking supplies. Assist with inventory control. Wh minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certificion / Registrion: BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Associion or American Red Cross accepted. Educion: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulive job specific experience required.Note: Required professional licensure/certificion can be used in lieu of educion or experience, if applicable.
