POSITION OVERVIEW As a bartender at Malbec Grill, you are not just making drinks — you are: The face of the bar A sales driver A key part of the guest experience RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, and beverages with consistency and speed Provide friendly, attentive, and engaging service to guests at the bar and tables Maintain full knowledge of menu (steaks, wines, specials, pairings) Upsell premium spirits, wine bottles, and add-ons Keep bar clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times Manage opening and closing duties Handle cash, POS, and transactions accurately Work closely with servers and kitchen for smooth service Create a welcoming, energetic atmosphere (especially Thu–Sat nights) REQUIREMENTS Minimum 2+ years bartending experience (high-volume preferred) Strong knowledge of: Classic cocktails Wine service (basic pairing knowledge is a BIG plus) Ability to work fast under pressure Strong communication and personality Sales mindset (you know how to increase check averages) Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance Team player with a positive attitude BONUS IF YOU HAVE Steakhouse or upscale dining experience Experience with wine sales or bottle service Ability to create a fun, engaging bar environment Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred) WHAT WE OFFER Competitive pay + tips High earning potential (busy location) Growth opportunities within the company Great team environment Consistent schedule LOCATION Malbec Grill – Parkland, FL
