Maintains an exemplary driving record and conducts daily vehicle inspections Part Time Delivery Driver Job Profile REPORTS TO: Owners\Regional Supervisor POSITION SUMMARY: 1-800 Radiator & A/C of Salem is in search for a reliable delivery driver for our Salem area. The positions will be responsible for delivering orders to our customers safely and efficiently using company vehicles. On a regular basis will be tasked with driving to Eugene to pick up stock transfers to Salem. Number of daily hours can be discussed to be flexible but would be between 7:30 am and 5:00pm RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: • Deliver products according to sales orders following any special instructions that are noted on invoices • Ensure that all protocols for customer service is being followed to include proper warranty and pick-up procedures • Collect any payments that are due according to invoices and payment procedures • Clearly communicates with router to create realistic expectations for delivery times • Conducts daily inspection of vehicles • Follow all local laws and regulations regarding transportation and travel on roadways • Maintain an exemplary driving record both on and off duty • Files all paperwork according to local procedures at end of delivery runs • Makes sure that all warranty paperwork is attached to returned products KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: • Excellent ability to think proactively, anticipates employee and customer needs • Ability to multi-task with conflicting priorities in a pressured environment while still maintaining a customer-oriented demeanor. • Excellent communication skills both inter-office and customer communication Job Requirements: • Must have a high school diploma or a GED • Must have a clean driver's license • Must have the ability to do basic math • Must have a dependable mode of transportation to and from work • Must have clean and neat clothing • Must be able to lift maximum of 50 lbs • Must be mobile and capable of carrying parts to and from delivery vehicles We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
