We are Mac’s Batteries, a locally owned and operated battery specialty shop serving Eugene since 1943. We carry the highest quality automotive, RV, motorcycle, golf cart, and specialty Lithium batteries, and we help customers stay powered with batteries and solar systems for vehicles and off‑grid setups.
In addition to everyday battery services — including free automotive battery and alternator testing and full battery replacement services — we design, build, and install solar and off‑grid energy systems and custom battery solutions.
We are looking for someone who enjoys learning new technical skills, helping customers, working in a team environment, and solving battery and solar‑related problems.
This role combines battery sales and installation, solar and off‑grid system work, customer support, and hands-on technical tasks. You’ll learn about automotive batteries, electrical systems, solar power, and mobile energy setups while working alongside experienced technicians.
No prior battery or solar experience is required — we will train the right person.
