Opportunities for advancement We are a busy, patient-focused optometry practice seeking a reliable and motivated Optometric Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth. No experience is required—we are happy to train the right candidate—though prior experience in a medical or optometry setting is preferred. Responsibilities: Obtain and document detailed patient case histories Perform entrance testing (visual acuity, auto-refraction, lensometry, etc.) Conduct preliminary diagnostic testing Perform specialized testing such as visual fields and ocular imaging scans Accurately brief the doctor on patient history and test results Prepare patients for examination and assist as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment Provide professional and friendly patient care at all times Qualifications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic computer proficiency Experience in healthcare or optometry is preferred but not required What We Offer: Competitive pay (based on experience) On-the-job training Supportive team environment Opportunities for advancement Paid time off and benefits If you are dependable, eager to learn, and passionate about helping patients, we would love to hear from you.
