Opportunity for advancement for self-motivated individuals We are a well-established local construction company that has been in business for over 10 years. We do a variety of construction work; however, our primary work scope is residential interior and exterior remodeling. We are looking to hire a Carpenter or a Carpenter Assistant. Applicants should have general skills/experience in aspects of the home building and remodeling process. A minimum of 1-3 years of professional experience is required. Our general working hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30 am-5:30 pm with a 30-minute paid lunch. We provide year-round local work with a consistent schedule. We are a small company, and we value a positive work environment. Applicants are expected have a strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate as a team. We value commitment, and applicants who are self-motivated and show leadership skills would have the opportunity to move up within the company. The general pay scale for a Carpenter Assistant is $20-$25+ per hour. The general pay scale for a Carpenter is $25-$35+ per hour. For both positions, there is room for growth in the pay scale based on experience, skill level and leadership ability. We are not a union company, however we offer PTO, retirement benefits, flexible scheduling and local year-round work. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation to and from work, and be able to lift at least 75 lbs. independently. We reserve the right to do background checks.
