General Job Description: In this position, the Quality Technician performs dimensional and/or functional inspection on purchased materials and manufactured parts. Uses technical expertise and inspection instrumentation to verify conformance of materials/parts to prints, process sheets and specifications. Minimum Qualifications: Know & understand the use of all inspection equipment including (but not limited to): Micrometers Calipers Dial Indicators Height Gages Optical Comparators Gage Pins and Gage Blocks Sine Blocks and Setups Surface Finish Testers CMM Thread Gages Understand basic Geometric Tolerance. Job description JOB DESCRIPTION: The Quality Inspector will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality and compliance of aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards. The Aviation Maintenance Quality Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining the airworthiness of aircraft and ensuring safe operation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & COMPETENCIES: Reviews the general Maintenance manual, manufacturers' manuals, publications and specific items to maintain a high level of knowledge and proficiency to accomplish all inspections. Ensures all manufacturers’ technical service documentation and maintenance procedures are followed to ensure continued airworthiness of assigned aircraft. Examines aircraft maintenance logs prior to accomplishing inspections to determine the appropriate inspection required. Executes proper forms when components or parts are replaced on aircraft and reviews maintenance flight logs and inspection status forms to determine that maintenance and inspections have been properly cleared. Determines whether items listed on maintenance logs and appropriate forms have been signed prior to releasing aircraft for return to service. Establishes calibrated tooling used in the accomplishment of maintenance is in suitable condition and has been calibrated within the established schedules. Maintains Airworthiness Directive records as required, ensuring that all are complied with per manufacturer instructions and documented appropriately. Monitors quality assurance programs as well as scheduled and unscheduled inspection programs for all assigned aircraft. Ensures accurate and timely information is documented in maintenance systems and conveyed to appropriate maintenance staff regarding operations, AOG situations, and mechanical delays. Job description Position Summary: We area seeking a seasoned Director of Quality to lead and manage all aspects of the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) programs across our Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations. This role is responsible for maintaining compliance with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and internal policies, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. The Director of Quality will oversee the inspection department, manage audits, and ensure adherence to all regulatory standards while serving as the point of contact with the FAA and other regulatory bodies. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and continuously improve RSG’s Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with FAA, EASA, AS9110, and other applicable standards. Lead and mentor a team of inspectors and quality personnel to ensure a consistent and high level of performance, accountability, and regulatory compliance. Provide strategic leadership for all quality-related functions, including audits, airworthiness directives (ADs), return-to-service authorizations, non-conformance resolution, and customer quality concerns. Ensure all maintenance and inspection activities are carried out in strict adherence to manufacturer instructions, company procedures, and regulatory requirements. Oversee the calibration and certification of tools, ensuring traceability and compliance with metrology standards. Serve as liaison with the FAA and other regulatory agencies; lead audits and respond to findings with effective corrective actions. Review aircraft maintenance logs, inspection reports, and technical documentation to validate airworthiness and ensure appropriate sign-offs prior to return-to-service. Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license required. Extensive experience with rotary-wing aircraft platforms; knowledge of Airbus, Bell, and Agusta helicopters is highly desirable. Strong understanding of FAA regulations, Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Technical Orders (TOs), and applicable manufacturer maintenance publications.
