Journeyman Maintenance Technician (Warehouse) Location: 12500 Elmwood Ave. Cleveland, Ohio 44111 Employment Type: Full-Time Pay Range: $25–$35 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) Shift: 1st shift with some evening and weekend flexibility Position Summary We’re seeking a dependable Journeyman Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day maintenance operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining facility systems and equipment to ensure safe, efficient operations. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on warehouse equipment and building systems Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and general facility issues Maintain conveyors, dock equipment, doors, lighting, HVAC components, and other warehouse systems as applicable Respond to maintenance requests and urgent repairs in a timely manner Use basic tools and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues Keep accurate maintenance records (work orders, parts used, repairs completed) Follow all safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and lockout/tagout procedures Coordinate with supervisors and operations teams to minimize downtime Support facility upkeep tasks (minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, etc.) as needed Qualifications Journeyman-level maintenance experience (warehouse, industrial, or manufacturing setting preferred) Strong troubleshooting ability with mechanical and electrical systems Working knowledge of preventive maintenance programs Ability to read manuals, schematics, and basic technical documents Reliable attendance and strong communication skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in tight spaces as needed Benefits 401(k) Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for overtime (as available) Stable work environment and team support How to Apply Please submit your resume to: mbenison@springcometalcoating.com or come in to complete an application Mon-Fri. 8am-3pm @12500 Elmwood Ave. Cleveland Ohio 44111 Springco Metal Coating
