We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician/Label Control Technician to join us in our purpose of providing “Clean Hands for a Healthy World.” At Kutol our QA Technicians/Label Control Technician Provide oversight of the label area, including receipt, approval, issuance, counts, accountability and inventory. Perform QA functions to include daily manufacturing cGMP inspection and balance/scale checks; product disposition; preparation of CoA/CoM; preparation, revision and issuance of standard operating procedures; preparation, revision and issuance of packaging instructions/specifications and provide support to internal and external customers in compliance with government regulations and customer requirements. Provide support during customer and regulatory audits. Provide support to the Incoming Inspection when necessary. The varied duties of this role allow team members to grow their skills, responsibilities of this position include: Perform visual and dimensional inspection of incoming labels using measuring instruments, specifications and drawings and determine compliance/release or rejection. Provide oversight of the controlled label area by performing receipt, approval, issuance audits, count verifications, inventory and reconciliation of labels. Perform daily inspections of the Manufacturing areas and balance/scale checks. Work with Manufacturing Management/Supervision to ensure quality issues are addressed. Review manufacturing records for disposition. Disposition Finished Product in SAP (i.e. Release, Reject, Quarantine). Review Work in Process, Reprocess and Rework requests for additional requirements and provide Quality approval to proceed. Review and Issue packaging instructions/specifications, formulas, Certificates of Analysis (CoA), Certificates of Manufacture (CoM) and CoA/CoM templates. Assist in writing/revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s). Issue SOPs for approval, distribute and keep SOP manuals up to date with current revisions. Maintain Master Manufacturing Records in accordance with regulatory requirements. Conduct quality investigations as directed and prepare findings. Provide support to internal and external customers. Support education of others in current Good Manufacturing Practices, applicable regulations, and company Continuous Improvement initiatives. Compile all required reports and documents on the performance of the above duties. Serve as back-up to QA Incoming Inspection when needed. Perform or assist with Internal Audits in compliance with cGMP regulations. Other projects or duties as assigned Requirements Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in science or related field to meet FDA requirements for sign offs. 2+ years of quality experience. Knowledge/Skills and ability: Knowledge and understanding of quality principles and cGMP compliance in a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of various testing apparatus beneficial. Detail oriented and well organized; strong math, writing, and reasoning skills. Self-starter with ability to work and think independently. Effective communication and interpersonal relationship skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word and Excel. Writing skills with the ability to create procedures, packaging instructions/ specifications, cGMP documentation. Ability to interact and impact quality on the manufacturing floor and support customer requirements. Physical/Mental Requirements: Hand/eye coordination (computers). Combination: sit – 50% stand/walk – 50%. Ability to effectively balance and prioritize multiple tasks, deadlines and interruptions simultaneously. Lifting: Up to 40 pounds. We are currently seeking a Quality Control Lab Technician to join us in our purpose of providing “Clean Hands for a Healthy World.” At Kutol our QC Lab Technicians checks all production batches and finished product to assure quality control in accordance with internal SOP’s and FDA/GMP requirements, and performs instrumental analyses as needed. The varied duties of this role allow team members to grow their skills, responsibilities of this position include: Test and adjust production batches as required by formula and SOP. Communicate and record adjustments as required. Test finished products, stability and validation samples using required methods. Perform instrumental analyses as needed using HPLC, GC or TOC. Complete all paperwork, record keeping and posting associated with approving and releasing batches. Evaluate data for trends and author standard operating procedures and microbiological test methods. Approve tankers for loading and unloading, record information and testing results. Test products based on customer complaints or returns as needed, and retest returned goods for release or rejection as authorized. Store samples as required and assist in maintaining retained samples as needed. Maintain cleanliness and stock QC area and lab with materials as needed. Assist in environmental monitoring to include obtaining samples and conducting testing for chemical or micro evaluation. Operate computer programs in performance of administrative duties to prepare, distribute, and maintain forms, charts, logs, graphs and other written tools. Responsible for assisting in the company’s compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices. Communicate to other shifts as needed concerning special microbiological testing and any pertinent issues. We are currently seeking a Production Team Lead-Machine Operator to join us in our purpose of providing “Clean Hands for a Healthy World.” At Kutol our Production Team Lead-Machine Operator provide team leadership in the safe and efficient running of filling lines to produce quality product for on-time shipment to the customer. Responsible for the correct set up and production of orders according to customer specifications. Currently we have openings for Production Team Lead -Machine Operator for 1st and 2nd Shifts. The varied duties of this role allow team members to grow their skills, responsibilities of this position include: Train, delegate and assign appropriate tasks to the Production TeamMates assigned to the work area, manage the team in a positive manner to produce expected results. Operate filling equipment, complete set up, clean out, and changeover of the line with the support of assigned Production TeamMates to minimize downtime. Read and follow the fill line work order and instructions to ensure the finished product meets customer specifications and GMP requirements. Meet production goals and produce quality product with correct fill weights, batch numbers, label placement, packing & stacking patterns, etc., report any problems or errors in the production run promptly to the Shift Supervisor before proceeding. Collaborate with the Process Improvement Manager to create and enforce standardized work methods. Accurately complete necessary paperwork and documentation. Interface with the warehouse to ensure timely staging of packaging materials for production runs, and liquid processing for product delivery to the line. Complete line clearance before commencing next run. Perform minor maintenance and repair of equipment to prevent downtime, promptly inform the Shift Supervisor or Maintenance of more complex equipment malfunctions for speedy repair. Uphold plant rules and safe operating procedures on the line, refer issues of TeamMate’s non-compliance to the Shift Supervisor to be addressed. Provide updates as necessary to the Shift Supervisor, and oncoming Production Team Leader at shift change. Maintain 5S standards for safety and good housekeeping daily, complete these tasks prior to handing the line off to the oncoming shift. May run the forklift to help facilitate production if trained and authorized. Perform other duties and completes projects as assigned. Requirements Education and Experience: Minimum 8th grade reading and math proficiency Two or more years experience in manufacturing and production line work Knowledge, Skills & Ability: Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions. The varied duties of this role allow team members to grow their skills, responsibilities of this position include: Perform aseptic microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process materials and finished products using USP agar methods and in compliance with SOP’s and GMP regulations. Maintain the use of live microbiological agents and cultures and perform growth promotion in accordance with USP and SOP requirements. Maintain the Micro Lab in accordance with SOP’s. Prepare orders with correct products and counts for on-time shipment to customer by truck or FedEx daily. Receive incoming goods and sign paperwork for correct amount received. Currently we have opening for Shipping and Receiving Teammate on 2nd Shift or 3rd shift. The varied duties of this role allow team members to grow their skills, responsibilities of this position include: Correctly pull orders from stock to ship on a daily basis and consistently meet goals for pounds picked. Receive raw material and correctly stock said material and finished goods. Set up production lines with raw materials in a timely manner to facilitate customer orders. Make certain outgoing or incoming shipments have correct products and counts, and that any special customer instructions are followed. Take items received from incoming trucks or FedEx and put in correct area, quarantine area, proper rack location or person designated to receive.
