Hello, Chicago! I’m looking for a patient, funny, and judgment-free social media tutor who can teach the basics of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn… in person. If you can explain things without sighing, rolling your eyes, or muttering “omg” under your breath, we’re already off to a great start. This is for someone who absolutely will have questions — sometimes very basic questions — and needs someone who won’t make them feel ridiculous for asking. Think: “What do I click?” “Where did it go?” “Why is it doing that?” You get the idea. What You’ll Be Teaching Please be comfortable demonstrating and guiding hands-on use of: Facebook: posting, photos, events, the basics Instagram: posts, Stories, Reels, saving content TikTok: how to film, edit simply, post, and navigate X (Twitter): posting, replying, understanding the feed LinkedIn: profile tune-ups, posting updates, simple networking Bonus points if you can explain all this without sounding like a Silicon Valley robot.
