




Summary: This Program Coordinator II supports research in Neurogenetics and Neurodevelopment, assisting PI teams with administrative, operational, and regulatory tasks. Highlights: 1. Assists in the development of new or revision of program goals and objectives. Prepares or assists in preparion of proposal for funding and/or funding continuion from outside sponsors. Confers with and advises staff and others to provide technical advice, problem solving assistance, answers to questions and program goals; refers to approprie department person when unable to respond. Prepares periodic reports and records on program activities, progress, stus or other special reports for management or outside agencies. May evalue program effectiveness to develop improved methods. May review applicions or other program documents independently or in conjunction with supervisor to determine acceptance or make decisions pertaining to program. May Assist in the coordinion of recruitment efforts Assists with written communicion and promotional literure. May plan workshops, meetings or conferences; coordines logistics, scheduling and participant communicions. Interacts and maintains liaison with staff, faculty and outside/community agencies in faciliting program objectives. May supervise staff. Position Summary This Program Coordinor II role will support research in the Section of Neurogenetics and Neurodevelopment in the Department of Neurology. It will be a supportive role across PI research teams with support from an administrive manager and leadership PIs (Olson, Levin, Chopra). Key ResponsibilitiesMeeting/Team Coordinion- Scheduling and coordining research meetings; Developing meeting agendas with teams/managers; Preparing and organizing research minutes. Administrive & Operional Support- Helping connect research teams with research infrastructure cores; Formting of some grant documents pre-submission; Reimbursements organizion and processing Research Onboarding Support-Helping teams get set up with REDCap dabases for approved projects; Helping teams design and form case report forms; Support scheduling of pients/families for clinical research in collaborion with clinical teams, including coordinion with cores and collaboring teams Research Output Support-Helping with poster formting, formting cover letters, letters of support, formting manuscripts; REDCap dabase coding and da exports. Regulory & Compliance Support-Interfacing with agencies like FDA for IND applicions, managing IND reports and submission of reled documents. Research Communicions to Community-Research newsletters/updes, in collaborion with research teams Minimum Qualificions Educion: A bachelor's degree is preferred Experience:Administrive support in a medical research or other medical field preferred The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expection for this pay the time of posting.
