As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in warehouse operations to ensure the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products. Material Handling · Receive incoming shipments of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products. · Unload trucks, inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies, and record receiving data. · Transfer materials to designated storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other handling equipment. 2. Inventory Management · Perform accurate inventory counts and maintain inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS). · Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors of low stock or potential shortages. · Rotate stock and organize inventory to ensure FIFO (first in, first out) and proper storage conditions. 3. Order Picking and Packing · Pick materials and products from inventory according to pick lists, work orders, or shipping instructions. · Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with packaging requirements. · Label and mark packages with appropriate shipping information and documentation. 4. Shipping and Receiving · Prepare outgoing shipments for pick-up or delivery, including loading trucks and completing shipping documents. · Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to schedule pickups and deliveries. · Receive returned goods, inspect for damage or defects, and process returns in accordance with company policies. 5. Safety and Compliance · Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and property damage. · Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, including keeping aisles clear and storage areas tidy. · Handle hazardous materials and chemicals safely and in compliance with regulatory requirements. 6. Equipment Operation and Maintenance · Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, safely and efficiently. · Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors. · Follow proper procedures for equipment operation, maintenance, and storage. 7. Team Collaboration · Collaborate with other departments to support overall factory operations. · Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate tasks, resolve issues, and ensure workflow efficiency. · Assist with special projects, tasks, or assignments as needed to meet production goals and deadlines. QUALIFICATIONS 1. High school diploma or equivalent required. 2. Previous experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment. 3. Familiarity with inventory management systems. 4. Proficiency in using UPS and FedEx shipping software. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. 6. Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification preferred). 7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory counting and order processing. 8. Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) regularly. 9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 10. Adherence to safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. 11. Flexibility to work occasional overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 1. Ability to stand, walk, and move around the work area for extended periods. 2. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly. 3. Capable of bending, stooping, reaching, and kneeling to perform various tasks. 4. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to loud noises and varying temperatures. 5.
