Project Manager – Private Works (Livermore, CA)

Project Manager Benefits & Compensation
Annual salary of $120,000–$172,000

Project Manager Requirements & Qualifications
6–10 years of construction experience
Background with a General Engineering Class A contractor as a Project Manager
Experience with private work construction projects
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) or Construction Management (BSCM) preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities
Valid driver’s license
First Aid and CPR certification, and Competent Person training
Physical ability to work in active construction environments, lift up to 50 lbs, and endure varying outdoor conditions
Project Manager Preferred Background & Skills
Prior experience on underground pipelines, pump stations, water/wastewater treatment plants, site utilities, or complex civil works
Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders, subcontractors, engineers, and owners
Project Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Serve as the company’s on-site representative, engaging with all project stakeholders
Plan, direct, and coordinate field engineering activities to achieve project goals on time and within budget
Review job files, drawings, specifications, and manage submittals, schedules, and contracts
Organize and lead pre-construction meetings and job setup documentation
Develop site logistics and manage procurement, labor, and subcontractor coordination
Oversee safety, quality, productivity, and compliance throughout all project phases
Support project closeout activities, including punch lists, final walkthroughs, and as-built documentation
Respond to time-sensitive issues and travel between project sites as needed
