Adaptable role in a fast-moving, evolving business About the Role Valley Farm Management is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented E-Commerce Operations Associate to support the day-to-day operations of several brands, including Valley Farm Vault, Valley Farm Market, and other related businesses. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with products, staying organized, and helping keep e-commerce operations running smoothly. You will support everything from receiving and preparing merchandise to photography, inventory management, live-stream support, packing orders, and maintaining an organized workspace. No two days will look exactly the same, so we are looking for someone who is adaptable, takes initiative, and is comfortable working across different types of projects. Responsibilities E-Commerce & Product Operations ● Receive, intake, inspect, and organize new merchandise ● Photograph footwear, apparel, and other products for online listings ● Prepare merchandise for e-commerce sales and live-stream events ● Assist with product organization, tagging, labeling, and inventory updates ● Help maintain accurate inventory across products and storage locations ● Clean and prepare pre-owned footwear and merchandise for sale ● Identify inventory discrepancies, damaged merchandise, or other issues Shipping & Fulfillment ● Pick and prepare sold merchandise for customer orders ● Package products carefully and professionally for shipment ● Print and apply shipping labels ● Verify orders before shipment to ensure accuracy ● Maintain shipping and packaging supplies ● Assist with organizing completed, pending, and outgoing orders Live Commerce Support ● Prepare products before Valley Farm Vault live-stream sales ● Organize merchandise in the order needed for live shows ● Assist hosts and team members during live streams ● Track and organize merchandise during and after shows ● Help reset and organize the live-stream and fulfillment areas following events General Operations ● Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse and work environment ● Organize merchandise, supplies, equipment, and packaging materials ● Assist with labeling bottles and other products for Valley Farm Market ● Support merchandising, product preparation, and operational projects across Valley Farm Management brands ● Assist with other e-commerce and operational needs as the business evolves What We’re Looking For ● Highly organized with strong attention to detail ● Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently ● Comfortable performing hands-on work throughout the day ● Able to follow established processes while identifying ways to improve them ● Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change ● Basic comfort with computers, smartphones, and e-commerce technology ● Strong sense of ownership and accountability ● Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and product categories ● Able to communicate clearly and work effectively with a small team Preferred Qualifications ● Previous experience in e-commerce, retail, inventory, warehouse operations, fulfillment, or shipping ● Familiarity with footwear, sneakers, apparel, or collectible merchandise ● Experience photographing products for e-commerce ● Experience with inventory management or shipping software ● Familiarity with live-stream commerce platforms such as Whatnot is a plus Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on position. Candidates should be comfortable: ● Standing and moving for extended periods ● Regularly handling merchandise and packages ● Bending, reaching, organizing shelving, and performing light warehouse work ● Safely lifting and moving boxes and merchandise as needed Who Will Do Well in This Role This position is well suited for someone who likes seeing tangible results from their work.
