As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for contributing to the fabrication and distribution processes of high-quality products. Pay Rate: $19.00 to $25.00 an Hour Depending on Experience Hours: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM Requirements Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime. Perform assembly tasks as per job router specifications and drawings, adhering to quality standards. Run the job to produce the correct quantity of product. Record accurate times on the router for each job performed. Conduct quality checks, first-piece and in-process, on products at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with company standards. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly and effectively to meet production deadlines. Complete cross-training initiatives across multiple work areas/processes to be able to support production needs across the entire facility. Maintain accurate production logs and documentation as required. Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve production efficiency and quality. Follow work instructions for each area of the fabrication department. Follow all safety instructions. Assist in the training of new hires. Report quality problems to applicable supervisor. Follow departmental procedures and work instructions as written and recommend improvements as necessary. Perform any other task/activity assigned by the supervisor within the scope of the fabrication system. We are currently hiring a Project Architect in our Architectural division at our Buffalo, NY office. The Project Architect will support our Essential Facilities and Municipal Design Studio. The studio is an offset division from LaBella’s Municipal Group. The Essential Facilities Design Studio specializes in architectural projects for fire stations, police stations, SWAT Training, armories, 911 Centers, fire and police training centers, department of public works, ambulance centers, mercy flight hangers, and other miscellaneous municipal work for local and County municipalities. The Architectural Division at LaBella provides comprehensive planning and design services for a wide variety of markets, including Municipal, State, Federal, Healthcare, K-12 and Higher Education, Residential, and Commercial projects. The overall expectations of the Project Architect position are to work with large project teams, including in-house and outside subconsultants, to ensure that all aspects of the project are being met and completed. An individual in this position needs to be capable of delegating aspects of work to the Project Technician and coordinating with all other disciplines to successfully deliver high quality, coordinated projects. The Project Architect will assist the Project Manager with client meetings, design team meetings, and construction administration. In addition, the Project Architect must be motivated and capable of performing all duties with minimal guidance. A successful candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to lead, communicate, coordinate, and motivate. A successful candidate will also possess strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills, as well as contribute to a positive work environment. Have thorough knowledge and understanding of New York State building codes Strong technical design, specification writing and construction document skills Well-developed project design and planning skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent graphic presentation skills Revit BIM Modeling experience Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project) Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 per year The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. This position will work closely with engineering staff to develop concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications, and reports for buildings from conception to construction. Individual must be able to work independently, as well as part of multi-discipline teams producing electrical engineering documents. The Building Engineering Division at LaBella provides complete building engineering services including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural engineering. Services range from feasibility studies and analysis through project design and construction. Our engineers are well versed in new construction, renovations, additions, analysis, special structures, and design/build projects for a variety of clients. The Electrical Engineer will work with Architects and Engineers as part of a project team to develop concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications and reports. Duties shall include lighting calculations, power distribution design, circuit and feeder calculations, and power, telecommunication, security and systems layouts. Typical projects will involve field work, design, and construction administration services. Duties Complete electrical designs including evaluate, select, specify, and engineer single line diagrams, electrical room/equipment layout, panel sizing, lighting, and building systems design. Load calculations for generators, transformers, switchgear, MCC's, panel boards, VFD's, feeders, and branch circuits. Preparation of electrical design drawings, specifications, and reports. Researches, prepares, and presents coordinated design options Interact closely with mechanical, civil, structural engineers and project architects. Function as lead electrical engineer for multi-discipline projects, through all phases (proposal, design, bidding, and construction). Function as a project manager for Building Engineering led projects, through all phases (proposal, design, bidding, and construction). Reviews drawings and researches electrical and safety code issues to comply with national, city, state, and county regulations. Delegate and monitor project tasks to junior team members. Meeting with external and internal clients. Performing building condition assessment reports. Communicates with manufacturers and contractors to address challenges and develop practical designs. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner with co-workers, staff, project managers, other disciplines, and all other employees. Interact with owners, contractors, permitting and planning authorities and professional organizations to deliver projects, strengthen relationships and advance your career. Serves as the Engineer-of-Record and internal technical design expert on assigned projects. Actively participates in the development of design staff through work on projects and serves as a trainer, mentor and resource for junior staff. Collaborates with the practice and market leaders to obtain and disseminate technical knowledge. Maintains current knowledge of technologies and trends, as they apply to the applicable project and market types, and continually strengthens skills. Requirements A passion for building systems and being a respected technical expert. Bachelor’s or Associates Degree in electrical engineering or related field required. EIT certification. New York State Professional Engineer’s license is preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience working at an A/E consulting firm is required. Building system design experience focused on power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security systems & telecommunications. AutoCAD and Revit experience is a plus. Familiarity with electrical modeling programs – Lighting software AGi32, Power software SKM. Familiarity with Arc-Flash Evaluation. Strong writing, organizational and communications skills.
