Aloha Print Group is a woman-owned and locally operated digital print company. We’ve been established in Chicago for over two decades and serve clients of all types, including marketing firms, hospitality establishments, and national companies. We handle digital print and litigation projects for a variety of vertical markets. We are seeking a Large Format Finishing Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for the hands-on finishing, assembly, and preparation of large-format printed materials. This role involves working with a variety of substrates, graphics, and finishing equipment to ensure all projects meet quality standards and deadlines. You will be working closely and cross-departmentally with the wide-format manager, small-format and finishing department, and customer sales to produce quality work and serve our clients. Previous print production or finishing experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities: ● Trim, cut, hem, and grommet banners and other printed materials ● Install printed graphics into banner stands and display hardware ● Mount prints to various substrates using mounting equipment or adhesives ● Operate large-format printing equipment, including direct-to-substrate printers ● Operate large-format finishing equipment, such as a laminator and a flatbed cutter ● Verify printing process, sizes, and materials against information presented on job tickets ● Maintain a clean and organized workspace and equipment ● Work both independently and collaboratively to meet production goals and deadlines Requirements: ● Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written job instructions ● Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods ● Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot issues ● Comfortable working with hand tools and production equipment What’s in it for you?
