Conduct regular risk assessments and internal audits Job Overview: As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our compliance programs. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure that our operations adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Your role will involve monitoring compliance risk, conducting audits, and providing guidance on how to meet compliance standards in all areas of our business. Key Responsibilities: Regulatory Compliance Management: Ensure the company adheres to all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and industry standards. Policy Development & Enforcement: Develop, update, and enforce compliance-related policies and procedures across the organization. Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify areas of potential compliance vulnerability and develop corrective action plans. Internal Audits: Plan and execute internal audits to monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Training & Education: Provide ongoing compliance training and education for employees to ensure awareness of legal and regulatory obligations. Monitoring & Reporting: Regularly monitor business operations for compliance and generate reports to management, highlighting any issues and recommendations for improvement. Regulatory Filings & Documentation: Prepare and submit necessary regulatory filings, reports, and documentation as required by relevant authorities. Collaboration: Work closely with legal, finance, HR, and other departments to ensure a unified approach to compliance across the organization. Incident Management: Investigate and address any compliance violations or ethical concerns, escalating issues as needed to senior management. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a compliance or regulatory role in any industry. Knowledge: Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations. Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Why work with US?
