Summary: The TrAIL Lab at CU Anschutz is recruiting participants for a research study investigating the effect of medication on alcohol use and brain function. Highlights: 1. Participation includes questionnaires, samples, MRI, and study medication The TrAIL Lab at CU Anschutz is recruiting participants for a research study. You may be eligible to participate in this study if you: - Are between the ages of 21-65 - Drink at least 20 drinks per week or drink alcohol frequently - Are not seeking treatment to reduce or stop your drinking This research study plans to learn more about the effect of a medication on alcohol use and brain function. If you join the study, you will have several study visits over a couple of weeks. You will be asked questions, complete questionnaires, give urine and blood samples, have two MRI scans after taking a small drink of alcohol, and take study medication. You will also spend a day at the University of Colorado for a study procedure where you will complete questionnaires and drink alcohol.
