This role is a great fit for a film student or emerging filmmaker looking for real-world experience shooting music-driven content in a fast-moving creative environment. What You’ll Be Doing ● Shooting a variety of projects including music videos, documentaries, and vlogs ● Operating provided equipment such as Sony video cameras, GoPros, or iPhones, depending on the needs of the shoot ● Working in both guerrilla-style setups and more traditional production environments ● Assisting with light production assistant work on set when needed ● Collaborating closely with the artist and creative team to help bring a consistent visual style to life ● Occasionally traveling for shoots (domestic and international) with advance notice for 2–5 day trips, if your schedule allows Requirements ● Must be 21 years of age or older ● Comfortable and confident operating basic video camera equipment ● Flexible availability; time commitment typically ranges from 5–10 hours per week, depending on projects ● Comfortable working in fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable shooting environments ● Willing to pitch in beyond camera operation when needed ● A genuine interest in rap music and familiarity with the visual language and aesthetic of rap videos ● No personal gear required — all equipment will be provided Compensation ● Paid position ● Compensation can be structured hourly, weekly, or monthly, depending on availability and project scope Additional Notes ● No editing or post-production work required — this role is strictly focused on shooting ● Offers hands-on experience working directly with a professional artist and production team To Apply Please include: ● A link to your work or visual aesthetic (Instagram, YouTube, Vimeo, or similar) ● A few examples of your favorite rap music videos
