Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and powertrains. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex problems with precision. Repair or replace components such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), diesel engines, and other electronic modules. Execute wheel alignments, brake services, welding repairs, and other mechanical tasks using hand tools and power tools. Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating for repairs, and ensure all work meets safety standards. Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring satisfaction. Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Solid understanding of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics tools. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment, transmission work, and diesel engine repair. Mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic scanners. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus; experience with auto estimating software is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
