A lube tech's job description at THE FLY IN LUBE entails changing oil, lubricating and performing minor repairs on cars, pickups, motor homes, and semi trucks. A lube tech checks that tires are inflated correctly, replenishes vehicle fluids and lubricates joints and fittings as needed. Other lube tech duties can include cleaning a vehicle's interior, replacing wiper blades. This work requires good dexterity to use tools and requires a lot of standing and bending to work on vehicles. The garage environment presents risks that can lead to cuts, strains and other injuries, so an attention to detail and a focus on safety are crucial for lube techs. The job also entails other that duties include the daily maintenance of the lube shop, pits, and a six bay do-it-yourself car wash. Hours: Full time/ 40 hours a week. Days and hours very.
