We are a commercial only manufacturer producing custom cabinets for clients all over the Northwest. Our goal is to add a new team member that enjoys what they do and takes pride in their work. The right candidate for this position will be able to work individually on projects and accept instruction from shop lead where needed. RESPONSIBILITIES Under the direction of the Cabinet Shop Lead, the Cabinet Shop Assembler will perform a variety of tasks including assisting with the fabrication and assembly of a variety of furnishings, countertops, and cabinetry. Be able to inspect completed work for imperfections and seek solutions prior to sending out for installation. Applicant should have working knowledge of table saw, line boring machine, and a variety of hand tools, impact drill, sanders, routers, etc. This position will be primarily working with plastic laminate fabrication. Experience working with laminate is helpful but not required. We will train the right person. The Cabinet Shop Assembler may also have the option to work as an Installer by assisting with installation of completed projects locally and out of state. Installers are compensated for drive time as well as a higher rate while on the job site. This position may require you to operate a company vehicle where you will need to have a clean driving record. Installers often work nights and weekends with travel away from Bend several days a week. Experience is preferred but not required. This could be a fantastic opportunity for an apprenticeship for the right candidate. And an excellent position for an experienced cabinet maker to display their skills! Must be reliable and able arrive to work on time, follow directions, take accurate measurements, follow all safety protocols, and complete tasks within established deadlines. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Frequent lifting from 5-75 lbs, unassisted (from 35-65% of the time) • Occasional lifting from 25 lbs +, assisted (up to 50% of the time) • Frequent operation of various types of tools and other shop machinery • Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling • Sustained periods of occupational noise exposure This is a FULL-TIME position Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts, with the occasional need to work other days of the week as production demands require.
