No previous bartending experience required; attitude and willingness to learn About the Role: Good to Great, an upscale neighborhood cocktail bar in Locust Point, is looking for energetic, detail-oriented individuals to join our team. We aren't looking for decades of experience; we are looking for the right attitude and a willingness to learn the craft the right way. We believe it is better to teach a dedicated student than to break a veteran's bad habits. If you are professional, punctual, and have a passion for hospitality, we will provide the training you need to master a high-precision beverage program. What We’re Looking For: The Right Vibe: You are friendly, professional, and thrive in a social, upscale environment. Meticulous Nature: You care about the small details—from the way a glass is polished to the exact measurement of an ounce. Integrity: You understand that transparency is the foundation of a great team. You are honest, reliable, and "on it." Curiosity: You want to learn about Maryland-centric products, craft techniques, and how to run a clean, efficient bar. What You’ll Learn: High-precision cocktail builds and spirits knowledge. Operational standards for a locally-focused, upscale/casual program. Professional POS management and inventory flow in a modern, cashless environment. The "Good to Great" standard of neighborhood hospitality. Requirements: No previous bartending experience required (we mean it). Must be 21+ and able to work nights and weekends. A commitment to showing up on time and being "service-ready." TIPS or Alcohol Awareness Certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire). How to Apply: Please reply with a brief note about why you want to enter the hospitality industry and what "great service" means to you. Resumes are welcome, but we hire the person, not the paper.
