HIS DISABILITIES - Severe short-term memory loss. He does not remember what he did an hour ago, or if he ate breakfast, took a shower etc. - Some vision loss. He has partial blindness on his left side and needs help navigating crowded spaces. - Visual processing- he needs a lot of help finding things, even in his own home. Sometimes he gets turned around and forgets where the bathroom is. - Executive functioning- he struggles to initiate activities or conversation. He does not know what to do with himself and will just sit, or watch TV for many hours if left unattended. We need someone who is able to be self-motivated to help him structure his day, and come up with activities such as playing games, going on walks, attending live music etc. - He does not have any significant physical disabilities that limit his movement. His range of motion and ability to walk is appropriate for his age.
