We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Facilities Project Manager position in LaBella’s Environmental Division at our client’s office in Augusta, Maine. The Environmental Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for multi-year operations and capital programs. Project teams are established to provide a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services. Duties: The Facility Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, security, capital and operation-based project implementation and overall functionality of properties within the client’s portfolio. Their role ensures that buildings and facilities remain safe, efficient, and well-maintained for tenants, employees, or visitors. The Facility Project Manager would work directly with, and report to, the client’s Building Asset Management Senior Manager, for Maine Building Operations and Projects. • Supports the Client’s Facility Senior Manager in the day-to-day operational management of all aspects of the property to ensure maintenance of approved quality standards. • Responsible for the preparation and coordination of all maintenance programs relating to interior and exterior conditions and appearance of the properties. • Responsible for the completion of work order requests in a timely fashion and to the satisfaction of the requested associate. May coordinate with Senior Manager or other maintenance staff regarding completion of requests. • Effective leadership in a matrix organization. • Maintenance and Repairs: Oversee routine maintenance, inspections, and emergency repairs. • Vendor and Contract Management: Negotiate contracts with service providers for cleaning, security, landscaping, system maintenance and repairs, and other facility needs. • Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage financial aspects, including budgeting for repairs, utilities, and operational expenses. • Compliance and Safety: Ensure the property meets government regulations, environmental standards, and health and safety requirements. • Security and Risk Management: Implement security measures and emergency preparedness plans. Requirements Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred. Direct experience managing building portfolio projects such as HVAC, office renovations, power systems / generators, site infrastructure / parking lot improvements, UPS and building additions / new structures. Minimum of 3-5 years of facility coordination or management experience required. Ability to work well with a variety of different individuals both inside and outside of the company. Ability to handle multiple complex tasks with minimal supervision while also adhering to the policies and procedures and Owner objectives. Mechanical knowledge to understand and address maintenance issues promptly. Strong computer, writing and communication skills. Strong leadership skills to manage a team effectively. Salary Range: $60,000 - $100,000 The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. Responsibilities CAD work during the conceptual engineering phase of the project Provide support during the detailed engineering phase of the project by drafting key concepts needed to convey intent to the design engineer as needed Review a sample of all drawings supplied by detailed engineering firm to ensure compliance with Owner’s CAD standards, this includes items such as: Border and revision procedures and compliance Line and text style weights, fonts, heights, etc. Overall drawing format issues Proper use of CAD layers in drawings Review and proper filing of as-built drawing work associated with all projects Requirements 5 years or more of CAD experience. Advanced Automation Corporation (AAC) has an excellent opportunity for a Program Manager familiar with Digital Engineering. The incumbent will lead AAC's active program supporting the development of requirements management software for the conceptual design and construction of a $12B facility. The architecture of the software is centered on IBM Rational DOORS Next Generation (DOORS-NG) which manages the project’s requirements. The program manager will oversee a team of approximately five direct reports. Prior management experience is strongly preferred. A strong background supporting requirements management of large engineering projects is also desired. At a high level, the successful candidate will lead the development of software and implementation in these areas: Coordinate software design, development, testing, and release activities; Manage resources and project schedules; Project management and Leadership to navigate AAC team among client teams; Deploy functionality, data maintenance, use case scenarios to meet project requirements; Develop, test and deploy DOORS-NG Requirements Management Extensions; Work seamlessly with engineers of various disciplines with strong attention to details. This position is remote and can be performed anywhere in the United States. A travel rate of 25% is anticipated. Requirements Minimum Qualifications Candidates must: Possess a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Have a minimum of three years of experience using IBM Rational RM (DOORS-NG), CCM & QM; Have a minimum of three years of experience managing other employees Be a US citizen, with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance; Possess understanding of Systems Engineering and Requirements Management lifecycle.
