Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Commercial Painter Laborer to join our team. As a Laborer, you will play a crucial role in assisting our skilled painters in completing various commercial painting projects. This position involves performing a range of tasks that ensure the efficient and timely execution of painting jobs, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Responsibilities: Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning. Masking and Protection: Mask and protect areas not to be painted, including floors, windows, fixtures, and furniture. Material Handling: Load and unload painting materials and equipment. Mix paints and ensure proper storage. Equipment Setup and Cleanup: Assist in setting up and cleaning painting equipment, including sprayers, rollers, and brushes. Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris, cleaning up spills, and properly disposing of waste. Other Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the Foreman/Supervisor to support the painting team. Qualifications: Physical Ability: Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing ladders, and working at heights. Attention to Detail: Careful attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take direction from supervisors. Punctuality and Reliability: Excellent attendance and punctuality are essential. Safety Consciousness: A strong commitment to workplace safety.
