We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. Vehicle and tools provided! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, with a focus on heavy equipment operation. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and maintenance inspections on a variety of heavy equipment, including trailers and heavy trucks. Duties for Mobile Diesel Mechanic: - Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, oil changes, and tire rotations - Conduct diagnostic tests and repairs on heavy equipment and machinery - Inspect and maintain air brake systems - Install, replace, and repair shock absorbers and struts - Operate heavy equipment - Assemble and disassemble heavy equipment and machinery - Perform mechanical and electrical repairs - Work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines - Maintain a clean and organized work environment - Collaborate with other mechanics and team members to ensure efficient and effective repairs Qualifications: - Proven experience in diesel mechanics - Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair - Familiarity with air brake systems - Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance - Ability to assemble and disassemble heavy equipment and machinery - Experience with trailers and heavy trucks - Mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills - Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects - Attention to detail and commitment to safety - Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines - Valid driver's license and a clean driving record We offer a competitive salary and benefits package to the successful applicant.
