ISDA Rates Documentation - Assistant Vice President Tempe, AZ (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) 95-125K + Bonus + Paid Relocation We're looking for an Assistant Vice President (AVP) to join our Documentation team, focusing on Over-the-Counter (OTC) Interest Rate and Credit Derivatives. In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the accurate and timely processing and maintenance of all relevant documentation, adhering strictly to departmental procedures. Key Responsibilities As an ISDA Rates Documentation AVP, you'll: Draft & Review Confirmations: Prepare and review ISDA paper confirmations for Interest Rate products. Process Electronic Confirmations: Process and review electronic confirmations via Markitwire for Interest Rate products and TradeServ for Credit Derivatives. Ensure Compliance: Verify all documentation aligns with ISDA standards and market best practices. Resolve Issues: Collaborate with counterparties, Front Office, and Legal to resolve any confirmation discrepancies. Track & Report: Maintain meticulous records of outstanding confirmations and report findings to management. Handle Inquiries: Respond to internal and external inquiries promptly and professionally. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Understand and effectively interface with other units as needed. Support & Projects: Assist the team with ad-hoc requests and project-related tasks. System Enhancements: Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for system upgrades, database conversions, and new system introductions. Team Development: Provide training to other team members when necessary. Requirements Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree required. Experience: 5-7 years of Interest Rate Documentation experience within a banking or investment banking environment. ISDA Expertise: Proficiency with ISDA Interest Rate Derivatives Definitions is essential. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Core Competencies: High degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail. Exceptional time management and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively. Strong organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities. You will manage the application origination relationship between FHF and dealers, working methodically to develop a thorough understanding of applicants’ profiles and assess risk by reviewing application information and conducting preliminary phone interviews when needed. Additionally, you are responsible for helping the team meet all monthly and quarterly origination goals by booking approved applications. This will be a full-time, remote position. What you will do: Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Make timely and accurate credit decisions within the company’s fair lending, credit, and collateral guidelines. Establish and maintain good relationships with dealers. Work with the Outside Sales team to improve app flow, look-to-book, and credit quality of our dealer partners. Negotiate with dealers to buy deals on the best possible terms for FHF while still maintaining dealer satisfaction. Follow up on deals to try to capture business and solicit dealers for new or more business. Conduct preliminary credit interviews with prospective clients to validate critical information (when applicable). Perform related administrative, clerical, or customer service duties. Role Summary As a Retirement Plan Specialist at Guidant Financial you will take the first step down the path of learning the full process of what it takes to administer, test and report on 401(k) plans. Through accelerated learning, in-depth training and practical experience, you will quickly grow from document review to administering basic plans. You’ll review documents submitted by our clients, proactively keep clients updated on progress and help clients understand the year-end reporting documents necessary to complete government filings, including the annual 5500 return. What You'll Be Doing: Work with clients to obtain necessary information to prepare the annual reporting Review documents submitted by clients for completeness and accuracy Reconcile plans with only rollovers and plan stock using Excel and administration software Utilize administration software to complete 401(k) testing and reporting Make outgoing reminder calls and send emails to clients during the plan year reporting process Prepare required 401(k) plan government filings, including the IRS Form 5500, using filing software Educate clients regarding the administration of their 401(k) plan and 401(k) plan documents Extra Tasks Share knowledge and explain complex topics simply Training on concepts for a Retirement Plan Administrator I Performs other duties as required Requirements Must be 18 years of age Excellent verbal and written communication skills Meticulous attention to detail and proactive approach to problem solving Skills in customer service, organization, and collaboration Adequate math and analytical skills Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field (business, finance, etc.) or equivalent work experience preferred Basic knowledge of 401(K) plan structure, ROBS, and IRS/DOL Regulations is preferred Ability to work in an autonomous environment where you can be a self-directed worker Ability to create an inclusive workplace where everyone feels a sense of belonging by empowering all our employees to speak up, ask questions, and been seen.
