We purchase electronic scrap from customers all across the country (kinda like a scrapyard, but for circuit boards) and send it to a refinery to recover the gold out of it. It’s a pretty neat concept. We’re currently a small, 4-person company, but we just tripled our warehouse space and moved to East Phoenix at the end of June. So if you want to get in early at a growing company, this is the place. ****WHAT YOU'LL DO**** One of the competitive advantages of SellYourBoards.com is that we sort our customers' scrap circuit boards for free. Your job will entail: - Receiving mail-in and drop-off orders for customers - Sorting their boards according to our 100+ sorting categories - Taking photos of boards and boxes for the customers - Loading and unloading trucks - Disassembling circuit boards if needed (power tools, etc.) - Testing PC parts to see if they are functional ****WHAT TO EXPECT**** - Since we're a startup, everyone does everything. The first week will be a full crash course of how to identify boards. The job itself is relatively easy, it's just a steep learning curve. It'll be lots of information and lots of notes, but I'll give you every possible tool to succeed. - We have a 60-day probationary period, but as long as you work hard, the probationary period won't matter. If I hire you, my goal is to keep you. - Your boss is the owner of the company, so you won’t have to worry about company politics and middle management. We’re all here to work and grow together, and a rising tide lifts all boats. ****COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS**** - $22/hr, 40 hours/week.
