This candidate should have 7+ years of experience specializing in a wide range of projects including, but not limited to, office, K-12, Colleges, Airports, Land Port of Entry, Courthouses, Laboratories, commercial fit-outs, hotels, hospitals, mixed-use facilities. This role requires various skills and experience as listed below. Requirements Qualifications and Skills Able to estimate in various formats (UNIFORMAT) and divisions (CSI). An understanding of how to use different cost databases such as RS Means. ASPE or AACEI Certification preferred. Able to pass a HSPD-12 background check. Able to work on a client site in the DC metro area. Computer Programs: On-screen take-off (OST) required Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) required MII (MCACES) preferred SUCCESS Estimator preferred GSA Cost Estimating Workbook preferred Responsibilities and Duties Perform change order estimates. Prepare market research studies for cost estimating. Develop a basis of scope for bidding and estimating purposes. Prepare and provide estimating services which include conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction level estimates. Prepare Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROMs) for construction projects, AE studies, or maintenance work during the planning phase. Track and compare planned vs. actual time and cost results and make recommendations to correct either positive or negative variances. Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing. This role requires various skills and experience as listed below Requirements Qualifications and Skills Expertise in Primavera P6 with demonstrated proficiency in building and analyzing Critical Path Method (CPM) schedules. Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction scheduling, with a strong track record in CPM methodologies. Deep understanding of federal government construction processes, including contracts, design documents, and specifications. Experience supporting vertical construction, utility, and infrastructure projects. Familiarity with large-scale or complex scheduling environments, including development and assessment of Integrated Master Schedules and detailed analysis of TIAs and COs. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement and reporting. Bachelor’s degree required in construction management, engineering, or a related field. This position is responsible for coordination of all engineering and field activities related to assigned projects. These projects include new construction and renovations. Provide leadership support for assigned projects to the Albireo Energy project team, subcontractors, contractors, and customers to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction as well as positive financial results. This role requires travel within the Gambrills MD area. Essential Functions: An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation. Support the Project Manager complete assigned projects on or before the scheduled completion date by coordinating with and facilitating communication. This includes sales to operations turnover, application engineering, programming, and field execution. Demonstrate comprehension of project specific control sequences and related scope. Coordinate and collaborate with BAS application engineers to develop shop drawings, submittals, databases, programs, and graphical interfaces. Provide quality assurance of engineering packages prior to submission. Must have the ability to modify packages as necessary before and after submission to customer. Understanding of the scope of work, ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications. High level understanding of end user standards and requirements. Maintain those standards for all scope and the life of the project. Proactively communicate technical issues to project managers and more senior level technicians as well as contractors and subcontractors. Collaborate with the Project Manager to forecast revenues and re-estimate project costs as it relates to project execution. Support the project team by performing specialist and subcontractor coordination to maintain the project schedule and working relationships with other jobsite contractors. Maintain redlines, and coordinate field markups from the project team and submit As-Built documents. Coordinate and maintain commissioning requirements for third party commissioning and testing. Coordinate and manage the check-out, start-up, and commissioning activities to ensure the system is functional and complete. Report to work on time and ready to perform assigned tasks.
