




Summary: This role involves assembling mechanical products, installing moving components, assembling gear systems, and performing hydraulic piping work, ensuring quality and performance. Test and repair assembled equipment, train other employees ________________________________________ In this role, you will assemble mechanical products by following blueprints, schematics, and detailed specifications. You will secure components using bolts and other fastening methods to foundations or structural frameworks, ensuring proper alignment and stability. You will apply your mechanical experience to install and fit moving components such as shafts, levers, and bearings, verifying smooth operation and proper function. Responsibilities also include assembling gear systems using precision alignment and measurement tools to maintain required tolerances. Additionally, you will bend and install piping for hydraulic systems, as well as perform layout, preparation, assembly, and installation of both threaded and grooved piping. To ensure product quality and performance, you will test or assist in testing assembled equipment, diagnose issues, and make necessary adjustments or repairs. You will also contribute to routine equipment maintenance on a daily and monthly basis. As needed, you may support team development by training other employees on procedures and best practices to improve overall quality and productivity. Requirements Minimum Qualifications • High school diploma or GED • Four (4) years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Basic math skills • Strong time management and organizational abilities • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents and instructions • Problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify issues, gather information, and draw sound conclusions • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including a fit-for-duty and drug test Preferred Qualifications • Trade school certification or technical training Working Environment • Standard schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. • Requires standing for the majority of an 8-hour shift • Regularly lifts up to 30 lbs, frequently up to 40 lbs, and occasionally up to 50 lbs • Tasks require manual dexterity, reaching, handling tools and materials, and clear vision (near and far) • May occasionally kneel, stoop, or crouch • Work is performed around moving mechanical equipment, with potential exposure to fumes or airborne particles • Eye and hearing protection are always required on the shop floor If interested call our office at 541-967-3600 or text JOBS to 541-967-3600!
