Team-oriented work environment Maintenance Technician – Property Management Sterling Management Group Full-Time | $20+/hour w/ Gas allowance | Monday–Friday (40 hours/week) Sterling Management Group is seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our Maintenance Team. This is a full-time position offering consistent hours and the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of properties. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for completing maintenance service requests, assisting with unit turns, and supporting overall property upkeep. This position is ideal for someone who is hands-on, dependable, and takes pride in their work. Key Responsibilities Complete maintenance repair requests in a timely and professional manner Perform sheetrock installation and repairs Diagnose and complete basic appliance repairs Conduct exterior maintenance and general property upkeep Perform basic plumbing and electrical work Complete carpentry and general handyman tasks Assist with landscaping as needed Inspect units and prepare for turnovers Repair and install flooring as needed Identify issues and order necessary parts/materials Utilize basic computer systems (desktop/tablet) for work orders and communication Qualifications & Requirements Experience in maintenance, construction, remodeling, or a related field preferred (willing to train the right candidate) Must have personal tools for use on job sites Basic computer and smartphone proficiency Strong verbal and written English communication skills Ability to climb stairs, walk long distances, and lift up to 80 lbs (more with assistance/equipment) Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (past 3 years) Must own reliable transportation What We Offer Full-time, stable schedule (Monday–Friday) Competitive hourly wage at $20+/hour Opportunity for growth within a growing property management company Team-oriented work environment If you’re dependable, take initiative, and enjoy hands-on work, we encourage you to apply and join our team.
