We are looking for a motivated person to join our team and assist our organization as we continue to grow our mission to provide affordable housing to the persons in need in the Mat-Su Valley. This person will help us manage and stay compliant with various agencies we partner with in the 26 properties and 400 residential units we manage. Work Experience for a property manager or developer of Affordable Housing with specific experience with Low Income Housing Tax Credit, HOME Investment Partnership Program, Section 8 (including HVC vouchers, Project-based Section 8, and/or HUD 202 and HUD multifamily) and knowledge of related laws and regulations. Experience in housing rental management, property management, report preparation, and file management. Ensure all paperwork in files and e-files are maintained and required documentation is in order. . Knowledge of and ability to navigate in Yardi Breeze would be a plus . Mission Statement: Bean's Cafe exists to fight hunger and homelessness one meal at a time. Job Summary: Under the direct report to the Logistics Lead, the Logistics Transport position is responsible for organizing the storage, collection, and distribution of goods, food deliveries and monitoring various sites; and ensuring that the correct products are delivered and/or picked up at the correct locations. Supports Vision: The Logistics Transport role directly supports the mission by ensuring that all the services related to food delivery and collection meet standards and serve the community the highest quality of food services. Duties/Responsibilities: Deliver and pick-up meals, donations and other goods adhering to schedule given. Load/unload deliveries using proper safety protocols. Adhere to and maintain vehicle policy, safety/security processes and procedures. Coordination of transportation routes and conducting vehicle maintenance logs. Facilitate and record donation deliveries and issue receipts for all donations. Monitor sites and logistics duties by; ensuring accurate meal count forms, providing technical assistance, and delivering reports. Liaising with customers and suppliers, planning vehicle routes and maintaining vehicle fleet. Coordinate, communicate, and support all accountability functions with other staff throughout the shift. Understand that any alterations to the program's operations and or services must be approved by the Operations Manager. Perform as a backup for kitchen prep, portioning, and other duties as assigned. Alaska Aids Assistance Association’s (Four A’s) mission is to support and empower people living with or affected by HIV/AIDS and to work toward the elimination of HIV infection and its stigma in all Alaskan communities. Four A’s is currently recruiting for a Harm Reduction Peer Support Specialist to prevent the spread of infectious disease and overdose fatalities by offering lifesaving supplies to directly impacted people. Working to empower people who use drugs (PWUD) through connection, education, and linkage to a variety of healthcare options and social resources, this position will provide direct services to PWUD and other marginalized groups who are at high risk for HIV, Hepatitis C, overdose, and other chronic health conditions, working out of the Four A’s mobile health van. We approach our work with curiosity, compassion and a collaborative, team-focus mindset whether working with individual clients, colleagues or external community partners and providers.
