U.S. military veterans are encouraged to apply. ______________________________________ What You'll Do: - Arrive on time each morning between 6:00 and 7:00 AM at our operations HQ in Boring, Oregon (typically a 4-day week, 10+ hour shifts) - Perform a thorough pre-trip inspection on your assigned truck - Safely operate CDL and non-CDL trucks to customer locations throughout the greater Portland metro and beyond, following route instructions - Call customers to communicate arrival status, and greet them warmly on-site - Use a smartphone to record job data and take payments - Provide secure shredding services using our specified equipment and processes - Load and unload trucks; move and carry equipment, often up and down stairs - Estimate job overages and coordinate with the office team - Complete a thorough post-trip inspection and submit timely, accurate records - Help maintain equipment, and learn our safety procedures and culture quickly - Bring a great attitude and go the extra mile ____________________________________________ What You'll Need: - Current driver's license with an excellent driving record - 3+ years of driving experience; experience with straight/box trucks and route management preferred - CDL preferred - English proficiency sufficient to read highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, complete required reports and records, and communicate with customers. ____________________________________ Physical Requirements: This is a physically demanding job.
