As a Front Desk Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while monitoring access, verifying credentials, and responding to security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.69 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Sat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at the front desk of an aerospace and defense location. Carry out site-specific security-related procedures, including visitor registration, credential verification, access control, and issuance of visitor badges as authorized. Monitor incoming calls, visitor activity, and designated access points, escalating unusual activity or concerns according to established procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders. Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and incident documentation while supporting a professional and welcoming reception area. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
