As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and maintain a visible presence. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while working collaboratively with site personnel. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.98 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Sat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify visitor and delivery credentials in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity and incident reports. Observe warehouse and logistics operations for security-related concerns, report unusual conditions, and support an orderly environment for personnel and shipments. Minimum Requirements: Possess an active DoD Secret clearance. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control/badge experience is preferred. A guard card/license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
