Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Driver Perimeter Assessment in Auburn, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible armed presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $29.73 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Wed01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Thur01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Sat05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Sun05:00 AM - 01:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit. Possess an Armed Guard Card or License. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
