Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $29.73 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Thur06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Fri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and escalating concerns as appropriate. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity or policy violations. Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, inspections, and security-related observations. Minimum Requirements: Possess a concealed carry weapons permit. Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
