Pay: $21-$24/hour
Job description: Security operations staff are the backbone of the venue and will be responsible for the overall experience & safety of the customers, artists, and staff. They are expected to help create and maintain a secure and friendly environment for all artists, guests and patrons.
Primary Responsibilities
Maintain a high level of situational awareness and be visible to guests at a position designated by the supervisor or manager
Bag search and metal detect/wand customers
Understand credentialed access and ensure venue policies are upheld with all guests, patrons, artists and vendors
Assist with crowd management on the floor or while crowds are in queues
De-escalate minor customer situations tactfully; escalate major customer disturbances and issues to the supervisor or manager onsite
Write incident reports for any major issues
Minimum Requirements
1+ years experience working concert/event security
Hold a valid California state Guard Card
Conduct themselves with a professional attitude in fast-paced, high pressure environments
Can stand for long periods of time
RBS Certified (training can be provided)
Available to work evening and weekend shifts
