About the Role Babel Audio is seeking professional Thai-speaking voice actors (using standard Thai / Bangkok Central Thai) for solo voice-over/recording projects. Your voice recordings will be used to train AI systems to better understand and express human-like emotions. This role requires nuanced interpretation and embodiment of character roles, demanding genuine vocal artistry; we have carefully structured all job details to suit this purpose. You will receive scripts and scene summaries to study emotional context and deliver authentic performances that fully embody each character’s role and emotional state at that moment. Scenes will be highly specific and emotionally rich—you may portray: A bride bidding farewell to her family on her wedding day, overwhelmed by a flood of emotions inside. A father holding his newborn baby in his arms for the first time, filled with overwhelming emotion. A shepherd glancing into the distance and spotting a wolf, instantly becoming alert and preparing to protect his flock. A doctor burdened with sorrow while delivering news of a patient’s passing to the family. A runner who has trained rigorously for many years, crossing the finish line with an overwhelming surge of emotion. Each recording session takes no longer than one minute. You may choose which scripts to perform and schedule work sessions at times convenient for you. Who You Are Fluent in standard Thai (Bangkok Central Thai) at native-speaker level. Experienced in voice-over, narration, audiobook reading, or similar fields. Capable of delivering expressive, engaging vocal performances through diverse styles and emotional expressions. Able to accurately interpret scene summaries and work independently without supervision. Compensation $90 USD per recorded audio hour. Additional performance-based bonuses may apply. Technical Requirements Clear and consistent audio quality. External microphone: USB recommended (or XLR; built-in microphones, wireless/HF microphones, or Bluetooth microphones are not accepted). Audio recording device: A computer is required (mobile phones or smartphones are not accepted). Environment: A quiet, noise-free space with acoustic treatment or sound absorption (no audible reverb).
