An independent movie/tv production studio in Brooklyn seeks a coordinator-level team member to assist with pre-production and to be general support to the producers full-time. Your responsibilities will encompass typical pre-production tasks as well as support duties during shooting and administrative duties during post and off-season. You must be someone who is a self-starter and a problem-solver.
-You should never say "I can't, I don't know how to...." you should only say "I have not done this yet, but I can figure it out with some guidance..."
- You must have a love for film and TV, and especially for producing in the industry.
- You must have an open mind and be willing to help with a myriad of tasks and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Scheduling auditions and rehearsals and communicating with talent
-Assisting with location searches, and communication to secure dates
-Assisting department heads with communications, organizing and sourcing as needed.
-Marketing assistance: Taking Behind the Scenes pictures, assisting with social media promotions
-Miscellaneous Administrative Task, emails, Filing, budgeting, schedule management etc..
- Assisting with Fundraising and Marketing Events leading up to production ( our next scheduled film shoots in January 2027)
- Running errands as pertains to the job.
Time Requirements/Schedule:
This is a FULL TIME Position.
Qualifications:
Must be available for full time hours, and for production hours (10 out of 12) when shooting begins.
Must have at least 2 years experience as a film production assistant, producing assistant, office production assistant, or other relevant positions.
Must have a passion and desire for a producing-track film career.
