Act as liaison between production industry and city agencies About the Role: Top Temporaries Inc is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Film Production Coordinator to join our team in the heart of New York, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the center of fast-paced film productions, keeping projects on track and teams running smoothly. Responsibilities will include: · Evaluate permit requests and issue required Motion Picture/Television and Still Photography permits, and maintain records using the online application system; · Instruct customers on the use of the Letter in Lieu of Permit; · Maintain and utilize the system for tracking the day-to-day locations of all NYC productions; · Participate in pre-production meetings with groups such as production company representatives, NYPD, FDNY, and Department of Transportation to review proposed shooting schedule and address special needs such as stunts, pyrotechnics, street closures, etc.; · Act as liaison between production industry and city agencies as well as community boards, civic groups, neighborhood residents and other groups; · Manage in-person, email, virtual and telephone inquiries; · Provide guidance to productions on contacting appropriate NYC government agencies for inquiry or problem resolution; · Manage portfolio of several active productions at any given time; · Provide production reports as needed; · Provide technical support to users of the online permit system; · Work with stakeholders as needed in collaboration with staff; Qualifications · High school graduation or equivalent · Three years of experience in the film and television industry; · Familiarity with New York City neighborhoods and locations; · Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Outlook/Excel; · Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects at one time; · Technical skills and ability to learn new software and systems; · Ability to work in a collaborative environment; · Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; · Communication skills including pleasant phone manner and professionalism About Us: Top Temporaries Inc has been connecting talented professionals with top-tier opportunities in New York's dynamic entertainment and creative industries for years.
