Cascade Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (www.cascadeuu.org) has an opening for its Audio-Visual Technician (AV Tech) position. Applicants should have a working knowledge of audio and video equipment, systems and live streaming, and have excellent problem-solving skills, be creativite, and work effectively within a team.
This is a part-time position,18 to 25 hours per month, primarily working on Sunday mornings for church services and for occasional congregational meetings and special events.
The AV Tech is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting audio and video equipment. The AV Tech will be expected to make recommendations for equipment replacements and system upgrades.
Minimum Job Qualifications are:
• High School education and preferred minimum of one year of college technical audio-visual training, or 2 years of equivalent experience.
• Ability to observe and hear live multimedia presentations and adjust in live environments.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders and walk-up steps to install, repair and service AV equipment.
Compensation is $25 to $50 per hour, depending upon qualifications and experience.
