About the Project Babel Audio is seeking professional Bengali-speaking (Bangladesh / Dhaka Bengali) voice actors for a single performance-based project. Your voice acting will be used to train AI systems capable of better understanding and expressing human emotions. This is character-driven, interpretative acting work where genuine skill and emotional expression ability are critically important. Thus, the structure of this project has been designed accordingly. You will receive a script and scene summary, study the emotional context, and deliver a performance that remains truthful to the character and moment. Scenes are specific and emotionally rich. For example, you may be asked to act: A bride bidding farewell to her family on her wedding day, overwhelmed with emotion A father, overcome with emotion, holding his newborn baby for the first time A shepherd becoming alert to protect his flock upon spotting a wolf in the distance A doctor, heavy-hearted, delivering news of a patient’s death to their family A runner, filled with emotion as they approach the finish line after years of training Recordings are under one minute. You choose which scripts to take, and you work entirely on your own schedule. What You Need to Be Native-level fluency in Bengali (Bangladesh / Dhaka) Professional background in voice acting, dubbing, narration, audiobook recording, or similar Ability to deliver expressive and engaging vocal performances across diverse styles and emotions Comfort interpreting scene summaries and working independently with minimal direction Compensation BDT 7,390 (US$ 60) per recorded hour Performance-based bonuses may be available Technical Requirements Clear and consistent vocal quality External microphone: USB preferred (or XLR; built-in, wireless/HF, or Bluetooth microphones are not accepted) Recording setup: Computer required (mobile devices or smartphones are not acceptable) Environment: Quiet, background-noise-free, acoustically treated or soundproofed space (no noticeable reverb) Internet connection: Stable connection for high-quality recording Pop filter or foam windscreen: Strongly recommended Apply here
