About the Role Babel Audio is seeking professional native Egyptian Arabic (Egypt) voice actors to participate in a solo performance project. Your recordings will be used to train AI systems to better understand and express human emotions. This is a character-driven interpretive performance requiring genuine artistry, and this collaboration has been designed to reflect that. You will receive a script and scene description, analyze the emotional context, and deliver an authentic performance for the character and moment. Scenes are specific and emotionally rich. You may portray roles such as: A bride saying goodbye to her family on her wedding night, immersed in her emotions A father holding his newborn child for the first time, overwhelmed with emotion A shepherd spotting a wolf from afar and becoming alert to protect his flock A doctor delivering the news of a patient’s death to the family, with a heavy heart A runner approaching the finish line after years of training, overcome with emotion Recordings are under one minute. You choose the scripts you perform and work entirely on your own schedule. Who You Are Native-level fluency in Egyptian Arabic Professional background in voice acting, dubbing, voice-over, audiobook recording, or similar Ability to deliver expressive and engaging vocal performances across a diverse range of styles and emotions Comfortable interpreting scene descriptions and working independently with minimal direction Compensation $90 USD per recorded hour Additional performance-based incentives may be available Technical Requirements Audio Quality: Clear and consistent audio quality External Microphone: USB preferred (or XLR; built-in, wireless, or Bluetooth microphones are not accepted) Recording Device: Desktop or laptop computer required (mobile phones or tablets are not accepted) Environment: Quiet, background-noise-free location with acoustic treatment or soundproofing (no noticeable reverb) Internet Connection: Stable connection to ensure high-quality recordings Pop Filter: Pop filter or foam windscreen strongly recommended Apply Here
