Deposit Policy: At pickup: If the driver is 21 years old or above, an additional $1000 will be collected as a vehicle deposit. If the driver is under 21 years old, you must provide your own full-coverage insurance to complete the rental. If the driver presents proof of full-coverage insurance, or purchases collision and theft protection (with zero deductible): For drivers aged 21 or above, an additional $500 will be collected as a vehicle deposit. For drivers under 21, an additional $1000 will be collected as a vehicle deposit. Any related expenses (e.g., vehicle damage, traffic fines, toll fees, over-mileage charges, late return fees, pickup fees, parking fees, EV charging fees, etc.) will be deducted from the deposit. A portion of the deposit (typically around $200) will be refunded approximately one month after vehicle return; the remaining amount will be released within one business day. Credit card pre-authorization is not an actual charge—it only temporarily freezes part of your credit limit. After we release the hold, the time required for the amount to become available again depends on your bank. Please contact your bank for details, as mobile notifications may not always appear. IV. Booking Policy Due to possible vehicle changes, we will do our best to reserve your selected model, but we only guarantee delivery of the same model, similar value model, or a free upgrade. The default rental rate does not include any vehicle insurance. You may provide your own auto insurance (we will verify whether it is full coverage and includes rental vehicle protection), or select a suitable insurance option on the next page. Drivers under 21 must provide their own insurance that covers rental vehicles. Otherwise, you will be responsible for all damages, including to our vehicle, third-party vehicles, and personal injuries. Broken windows often occur due to leaving valuables in the car, such as clothing, wallets, phones, etc. We recommend taking all valuables with you when leaving the vehicle. If items are stolen, recovery is extremely difficult❗❗ Once the deposit is paid, it is non-refundable. For bookings more than three days away, one free modification (including vehicle model, rental period, etc.) is allowed by contacting customer support. Bookings within ten days cannot be modified. The license must be valid—both Chinese driver's licenses and International Driving Permits are accepted.
