Deposit Policy: At pickup: If the driver is 21 years old or above, an additional $1000 will be charged as vehicle deposit. If the driver is under 21 years old, personal full coverage insurance must be provided to complete the rental. If the driver provides proof of personal full coverage insurance, or purchases collision and theft protection with zero deductible: - Drivers aged 21 or above: $500 deposit required - Drivers under 21: $1000 deposit required Any related expenses such as vehicle damage, traffic tickets, tolls, over-mileage fees, late return fees, pickup fees, parking fees, EV charging fees, etc., will be deducted from the deposit. A portion of the deposit (typically around $200) will be refunded approximately one month after vehicle return; the remaining deposit will be processed for refund within one business day. Credit card pre-authorization is not an actual charge—we only freeze a portion of your credit limit. After we release the hold, the time it takes for the amount to become available again depends on your bank. Please contact your bank for details; mobile banking apps may not notify you. IV. Reservation Policy Due to high vehicle availability fluctuations, we will do our best to reserve your selected model, but we only guarantee delivery of the same model, similar value model, or a free upgrade. The default rate does not include any vehicle insurance. You may provide your own auto insurance (we will verify if it's full coverage and includes rental vehicle protection), or select suitable insurance options in the next step. Renters under 21 must provide personal insurance that covers rentals; otherwise, you will be liable for all damages to our vehicle, third-party vehicles, and personal injuries. Window break-ins often occur when valuables such as clothing, wallets, or phones are left inside the car. We strongly recommend taking all valuables with you when leaving the vehicle. If items are stolen, recovery is extremely difficult❗❗ Once the deposit is paid, it is non-refundable. For reservations more than three days away, one free modification (including vehicle type, rental period, etc.) is allowed by contacting customer support. Your license information will be verified at pickup. The license must be valid. Chinese driver's licenses and International Driving Permits are both acceptable.
